The Sidhe (pronounced shee) are similar to the High Elves of Tolkien fame (think Legolas in the Lord of the Rings) and their enemies are the Bane Sidhe (pronounced banshee - the Dark Elves). The magics of these beings are as Light and Dark. The Sidhe change their world by creating—bringing things into being—by drawing from the energies of the elements around them. The Bane Sidhe change their world by breaking down the created things around them—destroying—by separating the basic energies.
